Teach Like A Pirate!!!

After attending a professional day here at Leedey, where Dave Burgess, the pirate guy spoke, I've been inspired to teach and think "outside of the box!"  Some might say I'm being so crazy that I'm walking the plank!  Aaargh.  :). But I seriously think it's working, as my students are now more engaged and excited about class. Time will tell-- the state writing test is in 3 weeks, Feb. 25 & 26. Here's a look at my antics.
